How long does it take you to come up with a custom blog idea? Is this something to spend time brainstorming on or do you just get on the computer and do?

  9. My answers :)

Q - Where do you come up with your cute ideas?

A - I can guarantee I'll do a horrible job answering this one. As far as blog design goes, the blogs typically just come together. I always ask my clients if they have any specific ideas, and if they leave complete freedom up to me, I just open up the files and get to work. I think with any design, over time, you just find a style that is your own.

For my own designs {like my digital scrapbook kit line}, I can be inspired by anything. It is actually really difficult committing to a color scheme, and creating something from scratch is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I am wrapping up a 4th of July kit, and changed the shades of the red and blue 3x before deciding on my final colors.

Q - How long does it take you to come up with a custom blog idea? Is this something to spend time brainstorming on or do you just get on the computer and do?

A - It really depends on the design. I usually just get on the computer and start designing. For a blog website there is usually a bit more discussion on the layout and design. But for a standard or deluxe blog, I typically get to work.
