Let's have some fun!!

If you've visited my blog before, you know that I enjoy doing the occasional giveaway.

I realized that I really only use my blog for giveaways {and raffles, of course}, and I think it's time to change that. I have been trying to think of different things I could do {maybe on a weekly basis}. Maybe I could even come up with something that you could all participate in every so often! I just think it's time to liven things up a little bit. Don't you?

Any ideas?? I'd love to hear what you think!

For this week...

I think it would be fun to learn about the holiday traditions of other bloggers. You may even find a new tradition for your family!

If you'd like to participate, just write a post discussing your favorite traditions {you can do this any time in the next week or so}, and link back to my blog. Don't forget to leave your blog link in the MckLinky below so anyone stopping by can read about your traditions.

If you'd rather participate by leaving a comment, that's fine too!

Thanks for sharing!

  2. We have an Advent Calendar for Christmas and the kids get to open a door every night - sometimes there is little hershey kisses or other small candy but mostly there are slips of paper that have a family activity - such as Drink Hot Cocoa together - Family game night - or Family Movie Night.

  8. We have the same advent calender that I had growing up. It is a felt Christmas tree with an ornament that you hang up every day. On Christmas Eve make gingerbread houses (usually just graham crackers with frosting and candy). We then make hot chocolate and drink it while sitting around the fireplace. My husband will tell us the true Christmas Story while we were are there.

  9. I make monkey bread with our breakfast every Christmas morning. It's so delicious that one time I made it "off season" and you should have seen the look of horror and shock on my family's face. I broke tradition. Well, that only happened once and now they are looking forward to it this Christmas!

  11. We celebrate St. Nicholas day with my parents and siblings (and their families). That way we can each spend Christmas day with our own families at home.
