One last mention of Halloween!
Wednesday, November 04, 2009I just got you all excited for Christmas, and here I am posting about Halloween. I wanted to share what I did on November 1st since it was the first time I have experienced Halloween at "The Happiest Place on Earth."
Yes, I went to Disneyland!!
The Haunted Mansion all decked out with "Nightmare Before Christmas" decor. Amazing.
I met up with my friend Jess, her husband, and their son {my "nephew"} Logan. I should probably mention that I stole these pics off their mom. I brought my Rebel but managed to forget the battery. I decided to charge it before I left, and never took it out of the charger. Sad.
I didn't arrive until later in the day {benefit of having an annual pass} so it was nice to get just a little dose of Disneyland {and a little dose of Logan!}
Disneyland was not as decked out as I thought it would be. It was certainly nothing compared to what it's like at Christmas, but it was festive and I had a great time.
The fireworks were hands down the best part of the day. They were even better than the fireworks at Christmas time!

Hi. Beautiful pictures. Good to hear that Disneyland has so beautiful Halloween atmosphere. I'm planning to take my little niece there. She has birthday at the end of October so it would be a nice present for her. However, I will do it probably next year because I think she is too small for it now. She is just 4 years old.

How fun! We really need to go to Disneyland more often.. maybe next year we will get passes. This year we have passes to the zoo, which really is better for my kids ages.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!! Loved the fireworks video...haven't been to Disneyland since I was little and it was at Christmas, but I do have to say the Halloween show out did itself!!! Wish we lived closer, hopefully soon we can take our daughter (almost 3) for a vacation...she is really into the whole princess thing right now and I think she would have a blast!!!
