I have met some truly remarkable people though the blogging community. People who have very much become part of my life, even though we have never "met."
Recently, I met Beth. She is on my creative team, and is a truly wonderful person. For the past few weeks, we have been chatting almost every day. I adore her. She is a lovely, beautiful, thoughtful, and caring woman.
Today, Beth found out that she has cervical cancer. Again. At this point, we know that she needs surgery, and that the cancer is "aggressive." If you could please keep Beth in your prayers, I know that would mean a lot to her.
Beth was discussing making some freebies on her blog in exchange for donations to help with the medical bills. Because I have worked on so many raffles in the past, I knew that that is what we needed to do, and asked her if I could do that for her. I told her I would put together a raffle, and we will auction off some great items {donated by some wonderful vendors}. All proceeds will help Beth pay for her medical bills.
It breaks my heart that Beth has to worry about this. She is a mother to two young children, and that alone is a lot for anyone to handle. I would like to help take away the stress of paying for her bills. That is the last thing she should have to focus on.
I will be creating a blog for the raffle very soon. If anyone has anything to donate to this raffle, we would truly appreciate that. Please email me at thedesigngirl@gmail.com
So far, we have:
Blog makeover
Pre-made blog template {I am donating these}
A nursery, play room, or children's room design by iBaby interiors {$425 value!!}
A watch from Watches by Helen
Something from Madison Mongorams
Hair clips from Lil' Magnolia
This was all accomplished in the last few hours, so I am looking to forward to adding some more wonderful items to this raffle!
