For all the animal lovers out there
Friday, July 17, 2009I just received the cutest dog collar and leash from Lucky Fiona. Not only is this the most adorable print I have ever seen {I may have gasped when I opened the package}, but it is so well made!
Shannon {the mastermind behind Lucky Fiona} has an etsy shop, and a blog website {designed by yours truly}. I definitely recommend following Lucky Fiona's blog page, because she has tons of great "1 day only" specials.
Here is my little guy {who happens to be a rescue for anyone that may be wondering} hanging out in his snazzy new collar.
Shannon even designed a matching collar for my cat {who is strictly indoor and also a rescue, but got out once last year, so I make her wear a collar just in case}.
I'd love to hear your pets' names! One lucky commenter will even win a prize!

What sweet collars! I'll definitely check her out. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGrowing up, our family dog (an English Springer Spaniel) was named Buddy. He passed away the day after I gave birth to my son. :( He was 13 and lived a good life, though.
We have three kitties - Betsy, Keef & Ziggy. We had a fourth cat, Roxy, but he moved back to the home he came from.
Your furbabies are cute, Danielle! Your lil' guy is a Min Pin? My husband grew up with two, Erika & Raven (aka Ray Ray).
We think he's a chihuahua min pin mix. He is a rescue, so I'm not 100% sure. He is a sweet little guy :)
ReplyDeleteYour pets names are all really cute! I especially love Ziggy.
Love your designs and just started following last week :) My dogs are Dixie and Lucy, but I always thought we should have named them after vacuum cleaners. You know...Hoover, Eureka, Kirby, etc. After all, they always clean up my spills ;)
ReplyDeleteSo cute it makes me want to buy a dog!
ReplyDeleteMy family is a big rescue family also. My sister found her cat Izzy behind a bar and my dog Pancake {how adorable is her name? it fits her too!} is the cutest & most precious thing ever!
ReplyDeleteI think Pancake is an ADORABLE name. And I almost named my cat Izzy. Love that one, too!
ReplyDeleteI guess you can say my Joey is a rescue cat. At 4 months of age, my ex and me found him sitting beside our apartment door at 3am on a friday morning and it was December here in Canada, a very cold december that year. So he picked me.
ReplyDeleteMy beagle's name is Bella. I rescued her when I was in college and her name at the shelter was Bell. I added the "a" and thus began our life together! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a cocker named boots and a mini doxie name vito. Boots was a rescue too and he is just the sweetest old man LOL.
ReplyDeleteVito just thinks he's a big dog, all 13 pounds of him.
I just love the colars!!
PRECIOUS collars!!! We have two dogs; a toy fox terrier named Princess Tinkerbell, but we call her 'Bell' (our daughter named her) and an Italian Greyhound (a rescue) named Sir Charles Barkley and we call him 'Barkley'.
ReplyDeleteLove your pet's names! We have a half Shitzu, half poodle (Shipoo). Her name is Choxie, like the chocolates from Target. She was a chocolate color as a puppy and I loved the name!
ReplyDeleteCute collars!
ReplyDeleteOur dog's name is Kona. She is a rescue, and when we were looking for a dog, we were told by the former owner that Kona meant "lady" in Hawaiian. We thought this was so perfect because my husband's mom is from Hawaii, so it gave Kona special meaning for us. We decide to rescue her, and later called my husband's mother to tell her the news. However, she informed us that Kona does not mean lady, it in fact means "west". Which is why Kona coffee is named that; it grows on the western part of Hawaii.
We kept her anyway ;)
My dog's name is Snoop. He is also a rescue/ adopted from the pound if that's what you mean :) but he's seriously the CUTEST dog in the WORLD! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteWe also have a rescue dog. Her name is Kiki. She's the cutest thing you will see. She's a black and white mix of Bassett Hound and English Pointer. I wish I could post a picture of her here because you would never expect her to look like she does. With her short legs and her long body she's simply perfection!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute collars! Your dog and cat are adorable as well. I have a dachshund that is named RedDog. We got her from a previous co-worker who needed to find her a new home. Since my husband loves the movie Funny Farm, he loved the dog's name...Yellow Dog. Since our dog is not yellow, we went with RedDog.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable, I totally need to order new ones for my girls. I have 2 doggies, Lola Jane and Bailey Ann...we gave them middle names because they are our children just like we would skin kids! ;)
ReplyDeleteOur dog's names are Curley (he has a corkscrew tail) and Sadie.
ReplyDeleteWe have two dogs...Coco, a Boston Terrier (and the love of my life), and Tag, a mixed breed rescue who tends to get into too much trouble!
ReplyDeleteGreat collars! We have an Old English Bulldog named Bozley ~ he thinks {and we are beginning to believe} that he is actually one {as in human} of the family.
ReplyDeleteI became a follower last week. I couldn't wait for the giveaway winner to be announced so I ordered a camera strap from you. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Those are so cool! We have a poodle whose name is Bandit. He's almost 4 years old. What a neat idea for collars!
ReplyDeleteMy girls are LIZZIE and FLORA, both of the Feline Variety! Since I've been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, both have become "Mama'a Girls"! I wouldn't have it any other way!
ReplyDeleteWe have a rescue too. She's a rott/chow mix whom we affectionately (and only slightly sarcastically) have dubbed "Princess the Wonder Dog". When we first got her, she was "Princess Poopy Puppy", but thankfully, she's outgrown that moniker.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute pictures!!
ReplyDeleteLove those pics! We have a Sheltie named Bailey and a mutt we named named Brooklyn but she now goes by Scruff (thanks to the hubby).
ReplyDeleteThose are FUN collars. Definitey going to watch Lucky Fiona's specials. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWe have 2 pets (a dog & cat, both girls) :) They are also both rescue.
ReplyDeleteOur chocolate lab's name is Nora & our cat's name is Josie.
